Location, location, location. And it does not disappoint on this end. Sweet view of the Hudson. The food was flavorful. The lobster bisque was rich, but then again it is almost anywhere. The greens were fresh and the scallops were done well. My favorite was the home made garlic bread and bruschetta.

Tried on the strength of the Zagat review but thoroughly disappointed. The little neck clams were average and one actually had black sand inside. Noted to wait staff and amazed still appeared on the check. Bloody Mary had far too much horse

The Hudson House is a warm setting off the Hudson River. Food is prepared nicely. I've never been disappointed. Management is very accommodating and will go out of their way.

Warm popovers and a beautiful view. Perfect for brunch but also very cozy at night with a warm fireplace in the winter.

In the most darling town, with the prettiest views in the Hudson Valley. Food is always delicious, if pricey. Worth a stay overnight as well in one of the rooms facing the river.
