I've been to the Bird and Bottle a few times this year and I must say I am impressed.This place is very relaxing on a wintery night with those fireplaces.The food was Incredible! The chef came out and said a quick hello and was very professional and friendly.The Tartare of tomato confit and salad of haricot verts was fresh and tasty, Foie Gras-perfect! The Indian River Salmon-Moist and tender.Hats off to the Chef and staff.Highly preffered

This evening I ended Restaurant Week in the Hudson Valley at the Bird and Bottle and what a magnificent end it was. The food was delicious and the deserts divine. I know this will be my new favorite and close enough for me to be a regular. Chef Gardner's selections are a wonderful delight. I am more a an cozy inn dinner as I find the decor charming. A best bet for sure.

I have been here twice and it has been a wonderful experience both times. The menu was great and the food was really outstanding. I used to live in Manhattan and in this area it is difficult to find Manhattan quality food - but this is it. The preparations and sauces are unbelievable. The setting is divine - very nice and cozy. In addition, the wine menu is superb and the drinks are amazing. I love bringing my wife here - it is our new favorite!

What a wonderful treat for all of the senses! Seasonal menus are well thought out, beautifully prepared and presented. Very relaxing and unhurried. Our server was knowledgable and very attentive. The food was absolutely delicious!! The wine list is great. Complimentary champagne was served for my birthday and our anniversary! This is a "need to experience" restaurant - don't miss it.
