The wow to price ratio at this LOUD, affordable (especially for the quality and inventiveness of the food) neighborhood place is sky high. The crostini is, as promised in another review, delicious. Bronzini was probably the best I've had (although it was marred slightly by an overzealous hand with the salt). One vegetarian in our party found the inclusion of only 1 true vegetarian entree disappointing.

their organic lettuce salad is perfectly dressed. the white lasagna is absolutely delicious. the pizzette is cooked well- crispy and crunchy. the lamb bolognese is aromatic and my wife loves the whole grilled bronzino.

The food was luxurious and decadent. The prices were surprisingly low and the service was highly attentive. We have three appetizers, split an entree and desert, and ordered a bottle of wine. If you go to this restaurant, you need to try the beef heart and bone marrow crostini, the grilled octopus, and the white lasagna. The food was so perfectly prepared that visiting the Cookery is more of an experience than just a meal.

This is a favorite of ours. We've been here a number of times and have always been impressed. The menu is a unique take on Italian cuisine with great selections from start to finish. The wine list offers some interesting selections at affordable prices - perfect for pairing with their menu. Items from the menu are excellent, but the specials can be very impressive. Favorites: easter pie, polpette (meatballs), cauliflower ravioli & pork ossobucco

The food is incredible. Chef DiBari obviously "gets it". I've eaten here at least a dozen times and the only miss was the market steak. Affordable food and wine, but AWFUL service. The food is so good I'll keep coming back though.
