Very good food with a charming ambience. We were the only table. At the beginning of the evening we were looking forward to many repeat visits. At the end we decided to never return back. The owner was not happy with the amount that we had ordered and that we were using a gift card that had been given to us as a wedding gift. The gift card had expired but the owner grudingly accepted it as our friends are long time customers. Bad experience!

Located on a service road on Central Ave in Yonkers off of Tuckahoe, Zafran is a hidden gem. Visiting Zafran is like going to dinner at a relatives house. The atmosphere is cozy. The owner/Executive Chef is like a favorite old uncle who mingles with the guests and makes you feel welcome and right at home. Last but not least the food is amazing and obviously made by someone passionate about food.

most gracious owners not only delicious but educational very creative fusion food lovely experience for afternoon tea location leaves much to be desired parking difficult meters to feed much prefer to feed my stomach

Unique blend of Indian and Italian recipes. The food is really great, but after our fourth visit, we tired of the hovering, insistent conversation of the owner.

excellent restaurant experience. Have visited Zafran a dozen times. always good. always interesting dishes. Portions are the right size. People say that the entrees are not cheap BUT they have no liquor license. You bring your own wine AND THEREFORE you have a very reasonably priced evening. they don't take credit cards either. It is very reasonable, very intimate, entertaining, personal experience and the food is excellent.NOW OPEN ALL WEEK.

unique indian food with european flair. Friendly, interesting owner. Downside, only open on weekends. You won't find anything like this anywhere else!
