Until recently, Caravela was a favorite. The food has always been consistently good, but the last few meals were a little inconsistent. The restaurant is fairly dark, and the tables are very close together - I have to push my neighbor to go to the restroom. The service is a bit abrupt and not terribly helpful. It was all worth it for the food, but once you burn my garlic it no longer pays.

We last ate at this Portuguese standard many years ago. My dishes included Pork Alentejo, which was delicious. My mother, who lived in Portugal several years ago, was dissatisfied with the suckling pig, feeling that it was undercooked. She got sick to her stomach later that evening. Oh, well!

I'd rather be in Lisbon. I think they would too.

Not as good as it was. Changed menu arranged by type of regional food for the meal (i.e. appetizer, salad, entrée, desert on a page) and not by courses. Too much page turning to find choices.

This place is a gem. Three different menus at all times, so there is incredible variety. The food is well-seasoned, always interesting, and prepared fresh to order. The paiella is my favorite. I been there with small and large groups - everyone always leaves with a smile and a belly full of delicious food.

Reliable, consistent. Has been the same for years.

A wide array of entrees with a particularly extensive selection of fish dishes. Food quite imaginative and very tasty with fairly average presentation. Service was attentive but a notch below professional. Decor is the same as 20 yeaars ago; needs a refresher.
