the nostalgia of going there is half the fun, the ambience is perfect for a winter night. Is there better food around, sure, but it's a good place.

Somehow, this food is just blah. I can never find anything to order on the menu. Stays busy by serving as the center of town politics. It's easy to find better, and I'd recommend you do.

The Horse and Hound is a surprising find. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I eat there often and every meal is perfectly prepared and very tasty. I like the daily specials, you never know what you might find. The standards, such as crab cakes, duck and short ribs are always an excellent go-to if you aren't sure what you are in the mood for.

If you are in the mood for pub food, this is the place. Great burger selection and plenty of beers on tap.

The crab cakes - light, cab-filled, crabbilicious! Sue is wonderfully creative, last visit she seved a wicked frutti di mare pasta diavolo. I love the pub but need to keep it light with the Filet of Beef on Belgin Endive. It is delightfully dressed with Apples, walnuts, cranberries and my husband's fav blue cheese. A great pub, the neighborhood haunt, but definately un-pubby with great food!

A very warm, inviting colonial atmosphere. Food variety is very good and one may order from a very satisfying bar menu or a very complete dinner menu. Try the firecracker shrimp or ribs! I take my visitors here all the time because the setting is so unique and comfortable and it's good for all levels of hunger. Good desserts, too.

This is a gem. The dining room is quaint and homey, the bar is intimate and fun. The patrons are the nicest people you'll ever meet!! Sue & Sil Vales (the owners) are there almost every night. He is a great chef and she is a terrific person, so warm and welcoming - you feel like you are at their kitchen table!! The patio is a great place on a summer day. Must try it!
