We spend a great deal of time in Westchester visiting family and have just recently returned to Epsteins after hearing of a change in ownership. Well, we completely enjoyed our visit...the food was fab...and we had a great NYC deli experience in Hartsdale.....they were packed so they are obviously doing something right!

Kosher food is pricey -- but the generous portions compensate. You'll end up ordering everything on the menu and wishing you were at your own bar mitzvah. Great food. No ambiance. But, hey -- what decor do you need to chomp down on a perfect pastrami on rye? Don't order it "lean." You need the fat to deliver the flavor! Hey -- you're not eating it daily, right?

In the mood for one of those artery choking overstuffed corned beef sandwiches and a knish to stuff your kishkes? This is the place to go! Don't forget the cel-ray soda :)

Good kosher food, especially the hot pastrami, corned beef, chopped liver. Old-fashioned rather shabby decor, old-fashioned rather shabby waiters too. But comfortable and tasty.
