Good Japanese at reasonable prices. Cooked food is available as well as sushi and sashimi. Great lunch specials.

When Sakura makes its sublime egg custard well, it is a marvel. But the last time I was there, they couldn't make it work at all. Sometimes the food is excellent, sometimes ordinary. Who can tell which visit will produce what result? I'm willing to try again, though.

Very authentic Japanese in a serious mood. The decor is serene and the food is just as unfussy.

Nondescript from the outside, they serve superior, fresh fish and tasty appetizers. Still trying to make my way through the extensive menu.
